Android 10 released September, 2019 makes it easier to control and interact with your smart devices.

Android Q (Android Quindim?)

What could Google have named it's Android 10 Operating System?

Google began assigning Code names to each of it's previously released OS officially starting from Android 1.5 with the code name, 'Cupcake.'

Why not Quindim? I will think it is because Quindim is a localised dessert (it is actually a Brazilian desert made from egg yolks, coconut and sugar) that Google tops consider not befitting it's Global brand name.

Google decided to depart from it's roughly a decade-long tradition of code naming it's OS. It simply released the new OS as Android 10!

Nigerian President: 2019 Election

Many people are unsure who to vote for, no thanks to the political class wanton greed, unfulfilled promises, dashed hopes...

This article aims to be a pointer to the generality of Nigerians. Political parties will soon present their Presidential candidates, among the eventual Presidential contestants, we should look for qualities that they have exhibited in the past, not limit ourselves to the defeatist mindset that it is either APC or PDP candidate that must win, and never fall for the lie that your vote do not count because if indeed your vote do not count monetary inducement that has characterized recent elections in the country will be non-existent.

The next Nigerian President must be a born leader and not an opportunist or the 'anointed' of greedy political-god-fathers.

He must be decisive and as well be good at galvanising his co-workers - (Ministers, Senators, Honourables, Governors) and the entire populace to execute his programmes.

Herculean as his task will be he needs to be dogged, patient and good in oration. And above all be honest in all his dealings.

No doubt the jackals and cabals that have spread their tentacles into every aspect of governance will fight hard, he will have to make sure he gets the people on his side.

Restructuring, that virtually every well-intentioned Nigerian is shouting about should be done gradually and the process should be as ordinary-man inclusive as possible.

Globacom Oga SIM

Globacom Nigeria - the Grandmaster of Data recently rolled out another SIM package called, Oga SIM, with enhanced data connectivity benefits.
The new package is a special SIM that offers subscribers 125% increase in the value of data available for purchase.

The Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Ashok Israni, at the product launch on Wednesday, 15th of August, said the product  gives Glo subscribers  125% bonus on data bundle subscriptions.

How To Benefit
Explaining further, he said a new data subscriber who buys any data plan on Glo, automatically gets 125% bonus. “The subscriber  does not need to  do anything  else to enjoy the benefit  besides just  buying  a  preferred  data  plan.
“For instance, a  new subscriber who buys N500 worth of data subscription will automatically get 1.8GB of data instead of the usual 800MB;  while a customer  who buys N1000 data package gets 3.6GB instead of 1.6GB.
“N2000 fetches the subscriber 8.26GB instead of 3.65GB, while N2,500 gives a whopping 12.9GB instead of 5.75GB” he added.

Old data subscribers who have not  used Glo data services in the last three months the 125% increase will also benefit from this huge increase in data.

Explaining the rationale behind the new offer, Israni said Globacom realizes the importance of data connectivity in today’s world.

He described it as “the best offer in the market place at this point in time in Nigeria as  no other offer comes close to it. “This consolidates Globacom’s position as the company that gives unbeatable value to all categories of its customers”.

He also doused the fear of expected network congestion stating that the company has the capacity to absorb expected influx into the network:
“Globacom has invested millions of dollars on expanding and upgrading the network, increasing  its capacity and giving  superior customer experience  on the network,” he said.
